Annual Report

2015 was an exciting, foundational year for Melissa Vosburg, Inc.!  Together with our donors and members, we were able to make significant progress on all three of our charitable causes.

In our effort to fund brain cancer research, we directly and indirectly provided over $26,000 in funds to Brain Tumor Alliance, ABTA and Florida Hospital Cancer Institute.  We are also very pleased to have chosen Florida Hospital Cancer Institute’s GBM Study as our 2016 beneficiary.  We are also actively and excitedly preparing for our first every self-hosted event – Melissa’s Race, to Battle Brain Cancer – in May 2016.

Awareness is our second important cause, and during 2015 we significantly increased our outreach, including an inaugural class of 49 members, an average 1,000 post reach of our Facebook page and an on-going effort to build our Awareness mailing list.

Our third cause is educational innovation, and we are thrilled to award four Reading Grants to some amazing recipients this year.  We are already considering a more structured and broadly promoted program in 2016.

These achievements are not just ours to celebrate. They are yours. Thank you!
